You've got me all wrong. I would actually much prefer to have a pre-chorus to help connect the verse and chorus myself. But it wasn't listed and as such I didn't feel like it was something we could do. Two lines might not seem like much, but multiply that by 60... it's a lot of extra writing. So I was just making sure that it was okay for everyone to do that, if they chose to. A simple extra line of text in the challenge post, "You may also include a pre-chorus if you wish," or something similar, would solve any problems or confusion surrounding that.
...
I believe we're allowed / expected to have titles. We just can't post anything publicly this round because it's all supposed to be anonymous. Usually we can share our titles and potentially some lyrics as the judges know who they're judging. This round is an exception.
I agree.
TT, for future reference a disclaimer saying pre-choruses are allowed would be great in the OP. I think it'd be silly to get disqualified or lose points for adding one in just because it wasn't explicitly stated. At least I don't find it to be a big deal to read 2 short lines but I'm not a judge so I guess my opinion would be different. As long as it flows with the song it seems fine to me.

You see, as I wrote that I said to myself, "Whoever catches this reference will get +5 points on their week 1 score." Congratulations sis. You're coming for that score of 6 in round 1
I'm completely torn right now! I have two completely different genre of songs I ended up writing and they're both pretty solid (just kind of having trouble with the chorus on both rn tbh).
I wish I could post to get some pointers but this blind audition is really ****ing me up!!! SMH.

TT's already said that it's fine and that no points will be awarded/removed in regards to having pre-choruses. But I think saying that they're fine to use in the challenge post is important. It's a pretty relaxed round after all.
