As for AO, it didn't impact radios yet. Its views are also slowly increasing, let the song take off.
There's plenty of songs who weren't doing well on iTunes when they came out (sales even decreasing), which ended up being hits. AO was released less then 48 hours ago, let it happen.
I truthfully don't care about chart positions, and it seems like Rihanna doesn't either this time around.
...which is why she needs to stop dragging this out and either give us some actual information about the album or just drop it once it's done because it's painful watching this era unfold so haphazardly.

If she doesn't care about singles this era she should've released the album shortly after FFS when people were thirsty for new Rihanna music. She wasted the 2 years break hype.

Plus I don't get the "she should just release r8 and start recording r9" WHY? Because songs aren't smashing? Ugh go stanning for those charts hunger pop girls then (Gaga,Taylor,Katy etc. ).
Comments like that are baffling. I've never seen people be so unsupportive of an artist they claim to love. Like y'all want her to give up on an era for what?! She spent how long recording music… Like **** yesterday she even said AO video is one of the most important videos she made and Im sure the song means something special to her as well. & who knows how many other songs on the album might have personal meaning. But NO she should give up on an entire era and quickly put out another album because songs aren't flying up the charts? some fans don't like the musical direction she's going? That is such ********.

I think all the fans want Rih to do well on the charts, but there's a difference between those who only stan for the charts, and those who support her even when her music doesn't sell much.
Like I want AO to become a hit because I believe it has the potential to do so, but if it doesn't then it won't change ****, I'll still love the song & support her.

I honestly don't like posting on Atrl right now because it's just so much negativity. And it's one thing for other stans to annoy me but I actually genuinely liked 90% of the Navy before the era started. I can literally count on one hand who I actually like now. I get that the era isn't going how some planned but there's no need to be unsupportive because of the charts.
And people are complaining about the quality of the music but I have no issue with what we have received thus far. I like what she's given and the songs have grown on me.
Rih needs to hurry up cause people are upset and people are upset that people are upset. It's too damn much. The passive aggressiveness, self righteousness and the OTT reaction to the era even though it's been like 4 months. Real navy, phake navy~.

-Good music (at least on par with her previous work)
-Performances
-Interaction with fans
-Promo
And each of these 5 things are horrible this era. I'm so mad at her giving the Navy this pile of **** that R8 era is after 2.5 year hiatus, R8 will also be her worst album yet, bookmark this.
