Sis, all games get closed after they end. They usually get left for a couple of weeks for general chat about the game etc.

The thing is that the plan was to close the thread at midnight EST, about 20 minutes ago. The polite thing to do would have been to allow the thread to stay open the extra less than an hour to let it end like it was planned to so everything could go as planned instead of going on a power trip and closing it an hour early

Just because you have a plan doesn't mean it magically bypasses the ATRL rules.

And like I said in the PM, had I not have been busy and noticed that it was being bumped again for promotion it would have been closed. There is no power trip whatsoever when we now have this thread for anticipation. Like Cupid said most threads now end, have some kind of reunion, left open for a few weeks just to get the remaining thoughts out, and then are done. There is no purpose to re-open them/bump them months later with no activity just to promote the new season. I could kind of see it back in the day when this thread didn't exist, even though then it really wasn't needed. However, since we now have this thread you can just discuss it here. Cupid or I could easily change the title like I just did so people would know. It's not that hard.

The rules haven't been updated since 2010, we even had a discussion in here for them to be updated.

Guess what Matty? Big Brother ten ended in JANUARY and it's still open. It was posted in THIS month without anyone closing it. Create A Label 6 ended at about the same time with a post in April and that's still open. ATRL Lost never even got STARTED and that thread is still open and being posted in NINE MONTHS LATER. Even your own game ATRL's next top member is STILL open after being finished for 3 months??? And guess what, theres no rule anywhere that says a game thread has to be closed after a certain amount of time. So please tell me, what actual justification do you have for closing my thread but none of these others, especially when there's no rule in place? Huh, I want an answer. Or please just let me have my ten minutes. You can give me 10 minutes.
