Well obviously, but considering pop girls are pitted against one another it's going to be a lot easier to have less of them about. Especially if we're in less female dominated charts right now, radio will want to tick the pop girl box for listeners but only push a few.

The latter is definitely the only real possibility. Gaga's album doesn't seem anywhere close unless they're purposefully throwing us off the scent.
