Neither of them had that choice; they both had to sing it. It was out of Kris's comfort zone. He tried and did okay. Was it his best, no. Did Adam over sing the song and made him sound like a crying child, yes.

Kris is by far the superior to Adam. I'm sorry, but I have felt that way from the get go. I have never liked Adam's singing. I never have and never will. To me, it just sounds like a crying baby. It's just a personal opinion that I hold true to my heart. I would rather play a Kris Allen record than an Adam Lambert one any day of the week.

Although I guess I did get a little happy, lol. It mostly comes down to who's style you like most, but they're both good. I just think Adam is far better.

And we can agree to disagree. Can we compare the two ... not really. Both of them have two completely different styles. I just prefer Kris's over Adam's style.

He needs to not let his emotions get the best of him. I have yet to be impressed by Adam Lambert. I think that his high notes are unbearable and screechy.

It really has nothing to do with strong personality or voice. It basically is whoever the majority of America likes. Sometimes we are surprised (Katherine McPhee) and other times we are not (Bo Bice) by the people's votes.

I know I can't necessarily change someone's own opinion, but I can voice mine all that I want. I just like Kris more!

Kris obviously has a certain genre that he will placed into and he can't help that. He unfortunately can't sing anything that he wants to, but he can certainly blow people away with something like "Apologize". Not to mention he turned the ever so hip-hop "Heartless" into an eccentric, alternative ballad.

He sang Heartless that way because he couldnt sing other ways with that weak voice, he COULDN'T
