Did people actually believe "Edge of Glory" was good? Because the song was awful and dated. Were people pretending to like it because they had to, like the Navy has to pretend to like the #R8 singles, or did everyone genuinely like "Edge of Glory"?
Just wondering.

The Edge of Flopping is epic, Clarence Clemmons last perfomance...
applause is more of a conventional pop single than ffs for sure, but at the same time it's counterintuitive for atrl to call applause 'tailored for radio' when in 2013 it was 'outdated' and 'out of touch'
it can sound like 2010 Pitbull song and still be tailored for radio, it's more about the song being 3:30, having typical structure, catchy hook etc.

People genuinely liked TEOG and it was, like much of Born This Way, 80s inspired. This shade is weak.
