I feel bad for making fun of her because I feel like she has so many issues with herself still, which is why she's always making passive aggressive digs at other people. I hope she learns to check herself.

Don't get me wrong, I completely understand where she's coming from. I've been pretty open on ATRL about my history with substance abuse and the fact that I can't handle drugs and alcohol. You're so right. What I don't like about Demi is the fact she thinks she's somehow perfect because she could get through her problems and now she thinks anyone who does drink or party like there's no tomorrow is wrong.

I dislike Demi and her followers, some of them, but not because she always talks stupid stuff, because of her thinking she's perfect and everyone else is wrong. She needs to get her **** together and get to work on evolving as an artist instead of criticizing people who party and have fun.

Can't help but agree with this, sadly.
I think it's clear she never means any harm/she means it well, but she ends up acting like her way of living is 'better'. She means to inspire people but ends up judging people who are different from her and are doing fine. Like you said, if you can handle it then there's no harm in it.
Her way of living is better for her. I think she doesn't yet realize that doesnt go for everybody.

She is so annoying, like always shaming others for having fun, I mean she used to do it, the fact that she used to do drugs and didn-t take care of herself is another thing, the fact that she needs to put other people down to feel good
