I don't want her to surprise release because of you know who and their theories but at this point I wouldn't be opposed to it. Don't release a new song and just let FFS and BBHMM be the lead. If another song from the album catches steam on its own and be the big hit of the era, so be it but at this point after 2 1/2 years Im not caught up and hell bent on a Hot 100 #1. We know she still has the pull to pull it off as its evident that whenever she DOES promote her song goes to #1 on iTunes. not a lot of artists can say they have that tenacity.
If the video she shot w/ the Strawberry Blonde hair is the video for BBHMM I hope it comes out sometime next week. Right now they can't be taking too many chances. The song is finally stable on iTunes (in the teens tho) and its Streaming and Radio airplay is doing great, A top 10 peak is very much in reach which is remarkable for an urban single. Surprise release it or just announce it the day before May 1st (Friday) Worldwide and let the fans have it. See which song the GP gravitates towards more by iTunes and radio and push that as the next single. Beyoncé did that with Blow and XO (although it didn't work in her favor in the end but still).

This is true so, even when R8 bombs hard i don't think it will affect her career that much. R9 won't suffer because of R8 (I hope).
BUT I think she will ruin her own career and future success. She waited 2,5 for R8 and doesn't even care for it, I'd be surprised if she did for her next albums from this point on... With each album her interest is dropping (which is understandable tbh) but it just hit an all-time low and I think that happened way too soon. Ah well, we can't do anything but hope something sparks up in her and reminds her she is a potential LEGEND. She needs her ambitions back.
She better promote...cause the hype for video and **** has fade like half of it. AO is a big potential smash hit. but I need the next ww single,please...coz I always change 'American' into my country when I sing it.
