Jessica Lange's accents have been so inconsistent. I love her but a Meryl Streep, she is not when it comes to accents. I'm glad she is free of American Horror Story. She has been typecast too long. I hope she doesn't waste her comeback on more ****. She could get another Oscar nom someday if she stopped acting in **** like The Gambler.

I'm kinda glad Jessica's gone even though I love her, because as you said, she was typecasted, and so was Sarah. Jessica played a HBIC that smoked and abused everyone 4 seasons in a row and Sarah played a semi-emotionally-strong underdog that got trampled on all season but wound up perfectly fine in the end 3 seasons in a row.
Now that Jessica's gone & there was a hint at Sarah playing a villain, I'm glad Ryan's dumb ass is finally listening.

Yeah but her Oscar was really a consolation for Frances (which is definitely her acting peak) and the other Oscar is considered to be one of the worst wins ever in a lazy year. I'll concede with Tootsie being the highest grossing comedy of that time though. Before AHS though, most people would say that they knew Lange from King Kong.

The Ryan Murphy Complex is the reason I'm a pessimist with the show, because once he's on a roll with ****ing up, it doesn't get better. It gets messier. And that was furthered by putting an inexperienced actress in a lead role.
