its actually a documented fact that raising a child outside of their own culture can be hugely traumatic. if you go through a reputable agency race will be a HUGE factor in deciding if you can or cant adopt or even foster a particular child because being divorced from their background can be so damaging and alienating in the long run. placing a child in a family outside of their culture is literally a last resort
but of course some white people dont give a **** about this and circumvent it by adopting kids from other countries and have created an industry of kidnapping and trafficking children from poor families just to satisfy our white savior complexes. google child harvesting, child laundering - its literally what it sounds like and the US classifies the latter as a humanitarian act!! because stealing children from poor families in other nations is apparently an act of mercy??
