Yes. On two separate occasions. When she first started her career and when she first started the fame era. She was broke at both times for different reasons. When she first started her career she moved out of her parents home and went fully independent, hence why she was broke. When she was starting the fame era, she said she was broke because all her $ from her hit singles went to her stage props, outfits, and music videos.

Ah, so this explains all of the endorsements and being rushed into a tour.
But yeah, this is normal. I don't get why people think a big hit = millions of dollars. None of our faves made any money from their first hit songs. You have to pay back all of the money your label invested before you start to turn a profit yourself. It's why it's so, so, so important to keep the momentum going after you score a hit.
he's money hungry, watch he will do the same to Meghan like he did with Gaga.
