Yeah. The bitching is pathetic. Hot 100 is based on a formula. If Wiz somehow does not come out, it doesn't come to down to "deserving", but what the chart calculated. Mark is very close to rewriting, or at least tying, a historic moment. And with a good song. I don't understand the hostility. Sure, 14 weeks is long but it's done it strongly and fair.
SYA has a crazy lead due to its gross advantage by the film/how its used and it being tied to the beloved actor's death. Because while it's a cute song, it's straight out of 2010-11 archives, and wouldn't succeed otherwise. However you see it, tribute or being used as promotion, it's working.
