P!nk in Australia with IND in 3-4 weeks. the album is 9xp and still charting inside top50, so its a safe bet to say that it will be 10xp there in a couple of weeks

We are talking about the US, not Australia. A diamond certification there = 700k shipped.

I know...I just replied to the comment saying that no one is getting diamond certifications lately in any country whatsoever. And why does it matter how much is the diamond award? all kinds of certifications in each specific country is adequate to the population and music purchasing trends, so reaching diamond cert n any country is a huge achievement, espcially nowadays.

Certifications numbers have been changing everywhere during the last years due to the decline in sales though. I'm not sure, but the US is one of the few countries it haven't, and it's probably the only sales-relevant one.

My point is in a lot of countries it's easier to get certifications nowadays.
