I'm very sociable and talkative when people I know but if I don't know them... and when I try to start a conversation it turns out so awkward

it takes months for me to really feel comfortable around someone, but the problem is most people don't want to stick through months of me being awkward/quiet to get to that stage. Shyness is a curse
How do you know if a guy likes you and not just in a friendly way, without asking them cause you dont want rejection or ruining a friendship...
If you have a strong friendship I don't think you'd ruin it by asking him! I told my best friend I was in love with her in August and we're still best friends. I had the worst time of my life, but well, she didn't take it too bad. She didn't even answer, and I told her in person
