Those are lead single pop songs by pop artists that are way bigger than Miguel, which underperformed, for pop songs. FFS and Applause are flop pop singles
Adorn was a super successful R&B single.
The measures of a "hit" aren't the same for every single person. What may be a hit for one artist could be a flop in the same position for someone else.
And yall really need to stop with this "R&B chart" shade. Miguel is an R&B artist so yes, his achievements are more than likely going to be on the R&B chart
