Just watched it. It was a pretty good movie. I thought the build up was pretty long but it paid off in the end and I really liked the symbolism. Reminded me of Black Swan a lot even though it was very different.

The Woman in Black 2 is such a bad movie.

I lost interest countless times, and had to keep trying to submerge myself back into the story. There weren't even any small redeeming factors that made the movie at least somewhat enjoyable to watch. Cookie cutter scene after cookie cutter scene- I forgot what I was even suppose to be watching a few times, because the plot is just that generic.

I'm gonna watch Starry Eyes tonight, I heard good things about it and y'all say it's cute so I'm gonna check it out.

Watched House of the Devil yesterday, it's really good imo. The style and feel of it is so nice and it's nice and slow and the pay off is so good. It really reminds me of 70s horror.

I watched it a while ago. Kind of a standard horror film (light on blood/gore iirc) but it's much scarier if you're afraid of clowns.

Anyway, I decided to watch them with my friend the other night for the first time. The first one is brilliant and genuinely scary. It makes you feel uneasy due to the feeling of claustrophobia and the fact we can't really see what is stalking them in the caves. But the second one was terrible. it is a shameful sequel that is literally just there to make money. The plot makes no sense and they take away the scare factor from the first one due to the fact they overemphasise on the creatures. It's so bad. But I really recommend the first one for people who haven't seen it before.

The Descent is iconic, truly one of the best horror movies ever. The sequel was an absolute mess

I've been wanting to re-watch Darkness Falls for a while, but I'm too scared to, since I know it genuinely frightens me and will probably gives me nightmares.. again.

See, I actually thought The Descent 2's ending was kind of interesting... I just hated most of the new characters, they were so unnecessary/annoying
