Glad we all agree it's a much better show when they are at least civil with one another. Wish this trip happened way earlier in the season. Of course conflict will arise but when it overshadows the entire series, it's like watching 2 or 3 diff housewives show spliced together.

Now when will they learn that bringing up an issue between 2 members at a dinner table is never a good idea? Good thing Kenya was smart enough to address Phae privately. Cynthia pretty much ruined her image this season. She should get the boot

I'm sure there are only one or two left and the next one shows that when they come back Nene is the problem so I'm sure they will just keep drilling in our minds that Nene taints the dynamic of this group.

Word on the street is that she cries crocodile tears at the reunion...the group can move on without her and bring fun back to the next season. Nene will probably do what she has to do to stay on...she might have to gnaw on humble pie to play nicer with them so that season 8 is fun and dramatic instead of angry and dramatic

I think when Nene is civil its a better dynamic, comparing this trip with say the savanah one where they all got along for the most part, its not on par. Drop Claudia, even if you have to keep Cynthia make sure she drops her new personality, pick up Porsha and we can have the season 6 dynamic again...not on par with season 3 hilarity but close enough.

Well it's a great way to end things.
I doubt they will go this way the next season...they will get better responses from fun yet little drama filled shows and will go in that direction next season.

Cynthia was in a lose lose situation.
Cynthia endured Nene's disrespect for awhile and if she didn't do anything she would look like the backbone less person that needed the boot. Now she looks like a btch who's messy but clearly can dial it back.

real talk: it was obvious that Cyn used the phaedra thing to keep her relevant as she was so quick to apologize and Phaedra won't forgive because although Mr. chocolate is probably true she knows that Cyn only did it to use her as a life boat to keep relevant and doesn't take that well.

I'm not a phaedra fan but I don't blame her. We all know Cyn was doing things messy on purpose to remain a fixture. I think it will give her another season but she needs to find something because she can't be spineless like in the past and she can't be messy like this season.

I hope if they don't give her a peach they at least let her be friend to the show

So subjective and inaccurate.
There was so much tension and fakeness going on season 6 trip.

Keep Claudia. YOu all have to remember that claudia was looked to as a friend until the end of the show so they didn't film her the way they could have. you could tell those scenes with her family were done late in the game.

I wouldn't want both Nene and Porsha. One needs to be gone and one can stay.

I'd rather Porsha if Nene is just limited capacity. She was slightly limited capacity this year but even less. Porsha will always kiss Nene's but whereas Phaedra doesn't have to and POrsha without Nene holds her on barely above water.

Cynthia WILL NOT be this messy again. It was her lifesaver this season but she can't go back to how she was in the past or this season...I just wonder what she IS going to be since she can't use either option in the future.

Cynthia basically confirmed on WWHL that she brought up the issue ON the table because the producers told her to, which is pretty obvious considering how uncomfortable it was for her in the first place.

Andy asked her why she did it and she basically gave him a, really bitch? look and basically said, 'That's not how we do it in the show, let's leave it at that', and the NYC Housewife sitting next to her had a cackle and agreed with Cynthia.

Ok so here is some tea: Carlos King, a producer on the show, actually hires the cast. Andy has put him in charge. Everyone knows Andy likes to be in charge with who he chooses for the franchises. So you keep wondering why their is barely to no change in the cast, here is why. Carlos is also friends with Nene, Kandi, And Claudia just to name a few. He actually helped them get on the show. So BOOM. Don't expect too much of a change next season and expect these 3 back.

The cast is perfect now. And I don't think that Nene is the root of the issue to why the cast is so divided. All the girls have played parts in the way this season has turned out. It's easy to pin all the blame on Nene, but lots of the interpersonal drama which caused division has nothing to do with Nene. Kenya/Apollo/Phaedra/Text messages has nothing to do with Nene, Kenya/Porsha has nothing to do with Nene, Porsha/Claudia has nothing to do with Nene, Phaedra/Cynthia has nothing to do with Nene. These are all things (and the things Nene has done) are what's contributed to the divide. If Nene doesn't exist, all of these things still happen.

The girls didn't fight this trip cause Claudia and Kenya didn't try to vie for screentime this trip. Recall that even in Puerto Rico, Nene didn't start the argument at the dinner table. That would have been a sour trip whether or not she was there. In fact, Nene was the one to apologize and attempt to move past it. If that is being a part of the problem, then all the girls must be a part of the problem.

I get you stan for Nene but you don't stan for objectivity if you want to deflect and not see Nene causing problems for the dynamic.
You can clearly see when these people with their issues are without the dark cloud of unnecessary shade and drama isn't there then these ladies with their problems can a) be civil b) talk it out like grown woman c) have a little shade but it's harmless and doesn't create a great divide amongst the group.

Now that Phaedra and Kenya have talked it out, Phaedra won't be under Nene as much ordering drinks like her and other silliness but Porsha is not a leader.

Porsha and cynthia are the two people in the group that need to be lead.
The others can stand on their own so when having fun or resolving issues they can just deal and move forward. That's not going to happen when Nene is around because she will make it about what she wants and not take responsibility and become increasingly defensive.

You pointing out the issues amongst the group (you forgot to mention Phaedra and Kandi) doesn't prove much as these individuals proved to be able to enjoy their time together as a team and even resolve issues...with one person missing. Just sayin'

If Nene is limited or remove i can tolerate porsha getting her peach back because that means less chance of her being Nene's lapdog.
Cynthia (Who I like) can't go back to being spineless nor can she do what she did this season.
Friend to the show might be her best bet like Luann to redeem herself and then get back on Season 9.
I agree. We need two new ladies...because they won't have the power to be so messy that they have the impact of the vets but they can add entertainment because let's face it. No matter how many episodes the newbies see they are still raw their first season and can't be perfect.
these two new girls can help as Kandi and/or Phaedra transition out eventually.
Porsha (if she gets her peach back) and Kenya will be there until they are told to leave. They have little to lose at this point

THIS was low key PIVOTAL.
I saw it from last season when the leak about her complaining about Kenya got out.

The confessional where she claims that Kenya knows not to eff with her sounded like a woman that KNEW she was already effed with and didn't want to admit lt.
FACE it Nene, Kenya got you.
Kenya is the only one formidable enough to go against Nene because she is crazy as a fox.
Phaedra is smarter but for some reason she can't win against Nene.
Kandi just isn't quick enough.

Nene KNOWS that Kenya is playing her role better than Nene has the past two seasons and is threatened by her because Kenya doesn't even have to do much to mastermind she just allows Nene to hang herself with her bothered attitude regarding Nene.
She'll play nice to show that she's the bigger person and allow Nene to trip over herself being SO nasty and SO rude as she digs herself a deeper hole.
Twirl bested her and when Nene tried to get rid of Kenya it didn't work. People love to hate Kenya and are starting to grow to like her more little by little and all this "redemption" is slowly turning the tide.

Nene knows that Kenya is the only alpha female that is smart enough to get Nene's goad.
Kim was good but she ran off at the mouth.
Sheree was a good reader but she wasn't smart.
Kenya is intelligent, crazy as a fox, and knows how to play Nene like a fiddle and Nene doesn't realize it until after the fact. Even when she realizes it in the moment, she can't keep herself composed enough to checkmate Kenya.
I.e. the charity - Nene easily could have bested Kenya by showing up being fake gracious and shading her a little bit for kicks and she showed her behind. SHe's was Mad with peter because he called her on it. Peter knew what kenya was doing and disappointed that Nene allowed Kenya to trump her.
ie. pillowgate - Nene went out of her way to get Kenya to look bad and it backfired and many people looked bad.
i.e. tavern - Faking friendships and then next encounter serving "I don't know her" teas made Kenya look like the better person
i.e. the pow wow before therapy - not inviting Kenya made her look petty. she did throw out a good reason/excuse since the root of Phaedra/Kenya/Mr. chocolate gate was raw but then you could still invite Kenya and not Phaedra or vice versa...Kenya used that in the therapy session
i.e. therapy session - Nene made no sense with Kenya and Kenya looked better.

I called it from last season that Nene doesn't like that Kenya is formidable enough to overtake her slowly but surely.

Now you have Kenya as Alpha female (A) with Cynthia, Claudia, Demitria
Nene as Alpha female (B) with teenage minded Porsha, Strategic but not all in Phaedra (see next episode when she includes Kenya at her event)

Then Kandi goes with the flow.
Team A is more loyal and supportive of each other than Team B which are strategizing to cause tension with Kandi and Phaedra to where Kandi is no longer closer to B than A but more in the middle.

Nene had these girls in check as the HBIC season 6...but Kenya's plan has shifted the game.

I think Kandi, Nene, and possibly Phaedra will be on their way out. Kandi, I believe, is over the show and is ready to move on with her spinoff.
