I just went through some of Alex da Kid's more recent work and he's been doing it a lot, distorting the instruments and adding unnecessary ****. Just Hope this is his only track on the album.

Can't some of you call a spade a spade sometimes, and just admit when a song is truly just abysmal? This song sounds like a B-side demo, and that God awful sound in the background is grating . This era is so far off to a extreme disappointment.

On second/third listen the song is definitely too long especially considering how little she is actually saying and how little the song changes up musically. They should have chopped two minutes off of that.

The initial build up is beautiful, but then it feels like a lot of space feel filling with the big anthemic background howls/chants -- like it feels like one of those songs that's intended to be stadium/crowd vibeish -- for everybody to kind of get wrapped up in that moment of swaying in a crowd with their lighters up, but it's too hollow to translate into a sit and listen. They should have kept a normal 3:15- 3:45 length and saved that for an extended live version. It awkwardly drags without traveling -- songs that long need to switch up somewhere, it feels stagnant after 3 minutes of her repeating the same phrases and that echoing background chant.

Still beautiful; I even like the weird parts of the production they should have done more tweaking tho. It feels like they were thinking about this only from the perspective of the summer festival/concert set without thinking about how it would work in average, everyday listening for widespread audiences. That may kill its potential, we'll see I guess.

After that performance last night,
this goes nowhere. Why the damn material this era is so lackluster. She was giving us masterpieces with the yearly releases and now she seems lost musically. And the corny title.
The lesson is long breaks don't equal quality. Case study, Christina Aguilera, her career went downhill because of long breaks.
I had so much hope on A02. And the last but not the least. This Tidal thing is a disaster.
Every normal civilised person in the world uses Spotify and she is the Queen of Spotify but she decides to accomplish Jay Z's business and money hungry ego.
It's a shame she is withdrawing from Spotify. Oh, well, no more number 1 songs.

It's dysfunctional but different, we need to stop expecting the norm and embrace her experimenting with new sounds. I also like how diverse the album is shaping up to be.
