Taylor better album sales. Bigger touring numbers bigger networth. Rihanna has singles.

I think Taylor has always been successful but she still has yet to reach the type of Influence and star power that rihanna has.
When it's all said and done Rihanna's music/style and career will be more talked about.
Even now during her successful era Rihanna is more talked about.

Although Taylor has sold more albums, Rih's career/brand has had a bigger impact and will be remembered more
Albums really aren't everything, especially nowadays

well yes, she also has her touring, acclaim, awards, AOTY, and Social Media Presence from the superficial
Facebook, Twitter, Insta, Tabloids etc. as well as writing for Wall Street Journal, being on the cover of TIme (solo) as well as Bloomberg, being named entrepreneur of the year and #6 on top 50 leaders of the world (the only celeb) by Fortune 500 etc.
not necessarily disagreeing just showing Taylor, "Impact" goes far beyond her album sales

Why do you need to be big in Europe while you can get more sales and money in US alone than Europe combined?
and being big in europe doesnt mean you're bigger artist. Europe =/= Worldwide
what kind of arrogant opinion that always brought everytime this kind of thread made

The bias in the OP is embarrassing
Why wouldnt you put overall record sales instead of just album sales
And you left out other important information like Billboard records like 13 #1s and 26 (soon to be 27) top10 hits (tying her with Mariah Carey / Janet)
Rihanna is by far more impressive only swifties and pressed hive will say otherwise

I hate how people say albums arent everything. Singles are used to promote albums. What do all the greatest artists of all time have in common? They all have historic albums, either sales wise or critically. All that other crap, "How many vogue covers, how many twitter followers" is **** people arent going to care about or remember. I mean, how the hell do you even measure media impact between two people that have such ridiculous amounts of it? Its such a stupid argument, and it comes down to subjective opinion. You guys are going around in circles, all we have is numbers, Taylor has sold more albums that Rihanna, therefor as a recording artist, she is more successful. Taylors tours have grossed more than Rihannas, so as a live act, she is more successful, all that other media quantitative ******** is something that the celebrity volunteers to do based on their star power, which is something that cant be measured because both of them have so much of it.
Also, the U.S is the largest market, so bringing up worldwide sales is kinda dumb when an artist can sell 3x amount of music in this country than anywhere else. Its the largest market, and its the most sought after one.
