And no consumer is going to be impressed that you are giving money to someone that already gathers their lost coins from streaming through touring, endorsements, etc.

Seriously you all need to stop using this stale mess in your argument.

This has little to do with making the rich richer. These people don't need YOU to be rich. They will be rich AND CONTINUE to get richer regardless of whether you subscribe to Tidal or not, whether Tidal succeeds or fails. This is about the songwriters, producers, engineers that don't have the luxury of "gathering lost coins from touring and endorsements". You do realize there are leagues and leagues of people behind the scenes responsible for making every single big name artist on Tidal who they are right?
These rich people didn't get rich all by themselves. They were just lucky enough to be in the spotlight and benefit the most from their team's work. THAT'S why they're on stage talking about this stuff. Because they have a platform. The songwriters and engineers that are getting the short end of the stick cannot actively try to sell TIDAL to the masses because they have no grounds to do so.
