Challenge #1
Round 2: Team Branding & Power: Banner
This challenge is all about proving to the judges the power/impact of your team. Each of your team's members will be dedicated to certain tasks for which they are to accomplish and prove to the judges which team has done the best in showing their Power and Branding.
Here's how it will work, At this time I will only give the teams the tasks to complete this task. It will then be the team captain to let me know whom is doing what for the challenge in breaking up this task.
Judges will evaluate onWhat we would evaluate is the amount of spirit each avi has representing the team but it would also go down to appeal of banner. We would also judge the group association to see if it can become popular or not on atrl.
Each judge will give a score out of 10 on the following: banner, avi, unification
out of 5: slogan and member title.
The explanation part of your entry will have to explain for each of these 4 parts of the challenge.
So here is the challenge, make the following happen for your team:
Team Blog
Now this isn't really something I want force down as a challenge, but for the sake of this challenge being all about keeping good communication with your team members, someone from your team needs to make a team blog. As long as it gets done, I'm happy, especially if its made within 24 hours of my posting this challenge!
How to do just that:
Pretty much you just need to create a blog for your team that only your contacts and moderators can access. No one from the other team should be able to access the blog. If you do this, whenever your blog is bumped, all atrl members can see the blog bumped, but only a limited group can access it!
AVI
Verbal Branding: Member Title & Slogan
This also has a bit to do with branding. I want y'all to come up with a member title for your respective teams, just as say the Christina Aguilera fans do with their "Verified Fighter ✔" member titles!
To coincide with your brand, I want a slogan for your respective teams as well!: a short and striking or memorable phrase used in advertising. It works in the same vein as a member title, so just make sure its consistent.
This is needed to present your team as a united front this challenge, so get on it!
The Banner Challenge
Basically your teammates need to make a banner that is representative you your team while adhering to your team brand and showing some respect to the attitude of I Love Money from your teams perspective. Its best if each of the teams came up with some keywords they wanted to specifically convey in their poster (2-3 would make the most sense) that are similar to the ideals I Love Money has as a game. This banner can be in a form of a gif or regular image format (png, jpg
, other).

From last season, one thing Team Green did that made their banner stand out was embracing the ILM tv show origins and created a nice graphic that showed the competitive, messy, and loca nature of the game I Love Money:

Oh I would reference last seasons team gold poster, but with tinypic its gone now
It pretty much had everyone's avis in the poster and was very gold looking!
Explanation
I think its important in this whole challenge to come up with a formal explanation of what y'all did to complete this challenge. Obviously a lot will have to take place to make this a successful challenge, so some things I'd be looking for as a judge is:
- everyone on the team had some sort of contribution to the challenge
- How y'all felt was the best direction to go in for these 3 challenges
- Details about why y'all sent in what you did. No excuses here, just reasoning is all us judges will take.
- Special details that we might not see when we first look at your entries that you wanted us judges to get.
- Any other relevant details.
Just know we want to see y'all appear to be a unified team as this game relies a lot on teams working together. So please use this opportunity to explain the concepts behind the avi/banner/slogan/member title!
Also the word limit is 2,000 words
With 5 different tasks, I will give you all 4 days to come up with an entry.
I want 5 different members of your team to submit each part of your entry to me: 1. avi 2. banner 3. slogan 4. member title 5. explanation.
The official deadline for this challenge is:

After the deadline for the challenge has passed, I would expect all team members to change their avis, member title, and possibly incorporate their slogan into their signatures to that of the entry you all submitted while the judges and I are evaluating your entries. It really helps sell the "we are a team" front. Its not a requirement, but it helps show you are united together as a team

I want each team member to send me a PM (so I should get 14 PMs at the minimum...not even counting the other task PMs) of whom from your team contributed the most and least for this challenge. It will be hard to watch a 7 member team have only 3 people do all the work, so this information can be pretty useful!
