So the T gurls have given up hope trying to look like Kum in this lifetime and now are hoping to be reborn as North in their next life? Well, life is a compromise afterall. It's all about adjusting your expectations and I am glad they lowered their's.
No matter how hard he tries, the critics (and the academy) will NEVER take Ben Stiller seriously as an actor. He can give up trying.
NOAmi What's(?) needs to stop trying to get an Oscar nom too.
Brittany Spirits tried to be taken seriously by hyping BioJean (though Bionic outsold it) as the new Ray of Light with "career-best vocals" and saying she's never lip-synched in her life.
Fffffffffffff not Tidal calling us "cynical" for seeing it as it is and calling themselves "brave"
I truly hope Tidal rots in hell.
Quote:
Billboard: Some critics are already saying that yesterday’s announcement looked like a meeting of “music’s 1%,” that these were just superstars looking to make themselves richer. What would you say to that perception of Tidal?
I would almost say it’s the reverse of that. Ok, these are established artists who care enough about the sustainability of the industry, stepping out on a limb and doing this. Of course there are going to be people who are cynical. But look, at the end of the day, if any established artist goes out and gets an endorsement deal -- no one’s gonna criticize them for that because that’s how they make money. But if an established artist goes out and steps outside of the box and says, “I’m trying something different,” that invites criticism. There is some bravery for what these artists are trying to do. Its not to fill their own pockets, it’s to create a sustainable industry.

They are so self-absorbed. I would like to know HOW they are going to compensate those songwriters they are speaking so much in favor of and pay them more than what Spotify is paying without having to give the labels the same percentages over the sales that Spotify works with.
It's ridiculous.
The marketing
Just focus on the fact that the music is lossless quality (even tho 99% can't tell the difference) and that it's a 'premium' alternative compared to other streaming services, the GP doesn't give a **** about musicians not earning enough
