Those artists who were in the conference are the stake holders. They are the ones who will take a slice of any profits. However in order to become stake holders, they would have had to make a financial investment in the company to buy equity. So if it goes bankrupt, they would lose their financial stake. Artists, who are not wealthy are unlikely to be willing or able to invest cash in a venture like Tidal.
It is well known that celebrity endorsements work in marketing, which is why everyone uses celebs to advertise their product. The most well known and likeable a celebrity, the more in demand they will be in terms of attracting endorsements offers.
So there is no reason to 'bring in' artists like Marina and Lily, and no way to do so unless they are happy to take a financial stake in the company. It doesn't sound like Marina is supportive of the venture, so seems very doubtful she would invest her money into it.
