I also think PRETTY HURTS should have been lead as a dual release. like the two message are a bit opposite but it's still the same water. plus both videos would be so overwatched by adults & teens at the same time.
like I said Beyoncé is the greatest artist we had in 2 decades but she lacks two things: an absolutely great sense of fashion + choosing the right singles. Matthew did a great job with Dangerously In Love & Destiny's Child single streack. look at how perfect that period look single-wise. with B'Day JAYZ started putting his hand on her plans and the man has always been known for not choosing well his own singles (I'm a JAYZ fan so I know)

No one cares tbh when everyone knows shes the greatest entertainer we have ever since MJ passed away. While RiRi might be remembered for her sense of fashion and her singles, Bey is going to be remembered as the greatest entertainer of her generation. Id also chose to be remembered for the latter one tbh.
Bey might not have massive successfull singles each era, but her catalog of hits is truly impressive. Once she drops her Greatest Hits, I think people will realize how many bops Bey has already delivered. (+ the Greatest Hits wouldnt even include the hits she had with DC, sth many people also tend to forget. Songs like Say My Name, Independent Woman, Survivor, Bootilicious are already classics of our generation that wont be forgotten)
