Anyways, I kinda want Britney to take a break after this. If the song does well, great, if not, whatever. Britney and her team have been chasing a lot of trends. They tried recreating S&S with WB (including having the same director) and now they're gonna try to recreate Fancy (same producers, artist and possibly director) but I can't see any long term benefits for #B9 or Britney's career in general if Pretty Girls does well...imo, I think it's just good to get her name out there again and give us fans something to bop to + enjoy, which is why I'm kinda glad this isn't exactly a song associated with an album (regardless of what Iggy said).

Well, I wouldn't be shocked if it did bad, but I simply don't* want to it to. I don't like it when Britney flops, and if she does it'd be the second time in a row, lead single-wise, and that's just a mess. I need her to at least be played on the radio, though I think this song can at least achieve that.
And I agree with this being better as a one-off single, but only if it's really catchy a la 3. Otherwise I doubt it'll grab people's attention much.
Also the chances of us getting a legit GOOD song are kind of slim IMO. Iggy sucks, no matter what some of y'all try to tell yourselves. But I'll remain hopeful on Britney.
