"greed is a sin" darling there are artists who are investing so much money in their music and almost don't get anything back. indie artists without strong labels. if this new service could open the doors for every artist out there and not just those who have the $ already like Jay Z, it's a very good thing for new artists to make money. i feel like you're just attacking this thing because it's Jay Z, beyonce, rihanna etc who are joining with Jay Z probably getting a lot of $ from it, but trust me the guys who started Spotify are making MILLIONS off on the backs of your favourite artists. i can't believe you are talking about greed when artists these days are making almost no money anymore making music because people like you think it should be free.
stop thinking all artists are millionaires. what if all indie artists only get their work heard for free on spotify or youtube? they're barely making ANY money off of it.

I never said that Jay-Z's idea didn't have good intentions, but its execution is lacking severaly and that's where my problem lies. I don't have a issue with Jay (and friends) being the founders of this company, but what I do have an issue with is for Jay-Z to mirage this #TidalFORALL campaign as something more than it is. Bottom line is he wants more money!
I am not giving him MORE MONEY because his **** isn't worth it. If it was I'd just PURCHASE IT on Itunes or stream it on Youtube.
If you wanna make your own rival streaming service, fine. But DON'T make it more expensive than the competition, you're **** ain't worth it. I get it that artists and the writers/producers deserve more money, but Tidal isn't fair for the consumers and at the end of the day the consumer is ALWAYS right. If he stops putting out music, people will live. But if we stop buying his music?
Demand >>>> Supply
It's the first rule in economics and again, he should know that. Spotify TRUMPS his service in all ways
