You're from like the South though aren't you? So that doesn't surprise me. Southern people are super religious, especially black families. My grandma was super religious but after she died is when I started to realize how dumb it all was. I'm from the NY tri-state area though so it's pretty ****ing liberal and free-spirited around here.
