I'm glad it won for its effects. They were truly fantastic - the docking sequence alone is Oscar-worthy. I wish it also would have won for it's score but it is what it is. At least it grossed very well and got good reviews and I personally loved it. Did you hear about J. Nolan's original ending?

That's the spirit. It was a huge success and not to mention, Nolan made $90M out of it.
I've heard Jonah had a different ending (which is obvious since he did the first draft), but haven't actually read it yet. Let me do some research.
