Touring doesnt have anything with being the N°1 on Forbes, it s just a little factor (JLo and Opra case), Madonna was the top touring act 2 years ago but she didnt top it, same with 1D. It s more the combination of the media presence, the earnings, the influence etc... Time's POY is a sing, she was a finalist and her media presence is the biggest this era...She ll def top it

Beck is a rock act, rock acts dont need hot 100 hits to get AOTY, it s not the same case with mainstream genres, like pop, rap, rnb..you need hot 100 hits. Outkast had a N°1 single when they won, same case with Lauryn Hill.
