She did rap-singing which is still prevalent in songs like 7/11 and Flawless which she has done throughout her career. Upgrade U, Check On It, Diva. Rihanna didn't inspire anyone. Keep Reaching.
Did anyone else notice that on iTunes it says that this was released April 7th, which is a Tuesday....maybe the album or another single will come out that day? I'm probably reading into it too much.
BTW, since I haven't posted it. I love the song. I think it will do really well on urban even if it isn't a massive hit.
I think someone mentioned that earlier in this thread.. it could be possible but not sure why she wouldn't announce pre-orders at least 2 weeks before she drops the album. No album title or artwork cover announced either.
I like it, but yeah.. this is not that different and it's definitely not making me go like 45S .. and from the other snippets it seems like I am only excited about Higher
Even though BBHMM sounds nothing like 45S, I'm not making a single comment on how it will make the album more/less cohesive this time.
I made the mistake of calling TPP incohesive right after Anaconda & Bed of Lies came out, in contrast to Pills N Potions. Considering how cohesive TPP turned out to be once the full came out, I'm not making the same premature mistake again.
