The whole "hifi/better quality music" thing is a gimmick, anyways. In order to even enjoy "hifi music", you have to have good quality earphones, a great Internet connection (or a cellular plan that is amazing), and a device that will actually play the files (LMAO AT THE IDEA OF BEING ABLE TO PROPERLY STREAM HIFI MUSIC ON A CELL PHONE DATA PLAN). So basically, on top of the $20 a month subscription price, you'll need to invest a few hundred more dollars just for the equipment to enjoy the music.

Don't let the hype fool you into thinking you can just download the app and enjoy "better quality music", because it doesn't work that way.
It's all a waste of time and money, and unless they can convince every major artist to leave Spotify completely and come to TIDAL, they'll never even begin to compete with Spotify.
