I can't find the quote you quoted but let's be realistic: MOST of the youngsters on atrl weren't here during the height of Britney's career and if they were, they weren't old enough to log into the Internet and debate Britney vs Christina vs Destinys Child. And that's another wrinkle: Bey was around during Britney's peak just not as a soloist. So then this question of who was bigger back then would be useless because Bey was not a soloist then and wouldn't technically be able to go toe to toe with Britney or anyone because of it. However, you can say that during Britney's peak, she was bigger than DC.
And lastly, this website was not up and running during the height of Britney's career so all of us veterans who were old enough to debate this question wouldn't have been able to. So that's why whether you like it or not the only space in time for us to have this discussion is right here and right now; when one happens to be doing better than the other. And the flip side is that that is exactly how it was during Brit's peak, she was on top and Bey was still working her ass off to get there. Now that Bey is at the height of her career, Brit isn't. That's life tho folks.
