The second season is gonna be more complex than the first one. A lot of intrigues and mysteries. It has a lot of action too though. I think it's gonna be better than the first one.
Speaking of Attack On Titan, my friend who got me into animes in the first place showed me an abridged version of it that is really better tbh. Proof that good things come in small packages
