It does. Most of the first season you are clueless about what the **** is going on tbh. It's one mystery after another. It goes from campy to gruesome really quick. Nothing that special just incredibly fun pointless anime to watch.

Might check it out. I love senseless brutality in animes. It's even better if it has a plot.
