An ensemble cast would mean everyone in the main cast was about equal in importance, screen time, etc. Closest would be Murder House. It was the only one without a singular character that had extra focus on them, but in fact did the opposite with Larry Harvey.
Asylum had Jude/Lana; that was difficult, but they both had a lot more screen time & relevance than the rest of the season.

Because anyone upset that they're losing a chance at a huge role due to someone else swooping in is going to be so brazen and say "No, I'm very mad that I'm losing my opportunity because a singer is now starring in the show."

Every main cast member so far has only had, at best, minimal screen time on the show. I don't know why they would focus on her, other than being the only actress so far.
Matt Bomer and Wes Bentley give me so much hope for next season. Cheyenne, I don't mind. We'll just see how he does.
I NEED them to announce at least Kathy for next season. I'm mentally prepared for a cast reboot, and it could even be rather nice. But I need Kathy to return if even just one comes back.
Because it's Ryan. He's going to put focus on Gaga. There's literally no doubt in that. If he's done it 3 seasons in a row, and now arguably the biggest actress of the show who had unarguably the most screen time of the show is gone, it seemed like others would get their screentime, but with a new huge addition that's already being used to fuel hype for the show with her name alone, there's no doubt that he'll have her play a Jessica-sized role.
It's not in total seriousness, anyway. Everyone was kinda over it until he brought that back up.

Gaga will either do an amazing work for the series & people will still complain about how "she isn't an actress" and "there were people who deserved the spotlight more" or "were in the show since 2 seasons & should have had that role" or she could totally **** up & will be dragged - rightfully - for that.

Because that's not what Sarah said. Sarah said she would fit right in, meaning she believes everyone on the show/the show itself is theatrical as well.
