Objectively speaking, 2010 was filled with the most forgettable/least impactful hits of the half-decade so far. The year was mostly defined by come and go hits that have weak recurrent sales, especially from the 1st half of the year.
2011 is slightly more remembered, but besides mega smashes like PRA or Give Me Everything, dance pop died HARD. It's a bit of a shame, actually. I thought the whole dance pop trend was fun.
