In fact her and Rihanna have the same # of top 10 hits. Give or take 2-3.
And no that's not what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to reference the obvious point that she's trying something different in her career. Ya'll may not count DC as part of solo career or w/e, but Beyonce had to live that reality. So to her, it's all a part of her larger career. She went through her hits phase. Now she's trying to grow. Yet "hits!!!1" are the only thing on the Navy's mind.
Madonna has shown what hit chasing looks like after a while.
It gets sad and pathetic and starts to chip away at your career.
