We haven't seen Miranda for a while! This track was co-written by Grammy nominee Brandy Clark and features a variety of creative circus themed imagery.
This is the most, dare I say, innovative? song on Platiunum. It really stands out and I like that she tried to do something a little different. I kind of regret not giving this a 10, but the remaining songs on Platinum are as good, if not better than it so whatever.
While it got only one 10, it did get quite a few 9 scores, including a 9.9 from Penk (what made you take off the 0.1? )
The song that has the unfortunate position of #31, is probably the most personal song on s/t. This song is a smooth trip-hop ballad and was written for Annie's mother when she was very sick.
I have the unpopular opinion that this is the best of St. Vincent'a ballads: I find Prince Johnny and Severed Crossed Fingers to be pretty overrated. I feel like this is a good place for it to leave though.

Its literally the perfect ballad but okay. I get that its not really a standout but idk its always been my absolute favourite along with PJ. I was really hoping for top 20.... let me go cry to this.
