When your song is good and you deliver a good Performance you don't have to worry about the juries. Look at Loreen. She delivered an amazing Dance Pop song that was original (compare it to Cascada!) and she did a great Performance that was Kind of raw and emotional (no army of dancers and pyro Show).

It's about creativity. A generic Dance Pop song/Performance will have a hard time winning the juries just like a generic love ballad from a Lady in a red Dress.

I agree with this but it's true juries aren't really keen on dance songs (look at Norway in 2011, Estonia in 2011 or Belarus in 2013)

Those songs all have one thing in common: bad vocal performance. Not to mention that BY13 was really tacky, Estonia '11 had horrible staging and... I'm not sure why the juries would go crazy for an African tribal song fused with mediocre pop.

Not a bad shout, actually. Not hard to see Estonia coming second in both rankings and winning overall. It really depends on how big the points gap is though.

I could really see Heroes win the televoting but don't think juries would vote it first. There are just too many ballads so you know juries will push a ballad easily.

I know Euphoria won jury too but this was rather the exception imo.

But let's talk how UK is in the Top10 according to the bookies while I think they will easily come bottom5.

If this didn't win in 2011 the italian Il Divo won't even reach the Top 5 this year.

This happens all the time. Most of those betting websites are from the UK, they also placed Bonnie Tyler and that other old guy from 2011 in the Top 3. It's so not credible and biassed.

Yeah most bookies are from UK true. But it kinda leads to wrong bettings oh well.

The thing is that Amaury seemed quite nervous but true, Opera usually doesn't do good. I guess I'll just never understand how Italy came 2nd in 2011 so they are always a threat for me haha.

Amaury was awful live, Il Volo are much better. I'll be surprised if they dont come top 3 at least.

And yeah, the juries won't be in a rush to vote for Heroes in mass numbers.

Seeing who is going to represent San Marino, it's going to be the typical boring Italian love song no one cares about
We all know what song is going to represent Sweden so let's not but it's a good one.
Norway better serve an "I Feed You My Love" sized bop.
I don't remember Austria ever having a song I've liked, literally, Italy and Austria (my two countries of origin) suck at Eurovision

I KNOW RIGHT! Everyone here is complaining about these "20 year olds with 40 year olds' looks dressing like 60 year olds" representing us, plus their song is boring af... If they don't have their own country's support, I don't see why other countries would like them.
