It doesn't matter if it took 3 years for Madonna to put out new music lol. We know Madonna loves her craft. She loves making music, she loves performing. The amount of time between FF and BJ was almost 3 years so it doesn't matter how long the album will take if Britney's heart isn't in it and if creating music isn't her priority.

Beyonce also named her child to promote her album. There's a different level of drive there and different circumstances for both women. Beyonce was the type of artist to sell her eating disorder to tabloids herself to try and gain popularity and it went nowhere (which is factual, look it up). Britney was the type of artist who found out her family affairs because they made headlines before her family could even contact her. There's a different level of drive there and, even with Bey's drive, she's showing the same amount of promo that Britney did when her kids were young.
I agree but you're also misreading the quote. The word "is" is actually present tense, not an indicative, binding statement where Britney declares that the album will never be her "full" priority. Please, keep in mind that she is just saying that the album is not her "full priority," which means that she's still focused on the album, but also focused on the residency, her family and her charity work. Reread the article and tell me where Britney says that music isn't a priority for her or that she isn't striving to take her time to create an amazing album.
