The Japanese music world is very closed in at the moment. The reason Korean music has been taking off so much is because they've been pushing themselves out there and making themselves known in places outside their country and working with western producers as well. I don't know much about them either but I do know they are getting much bigger and have (no matter how large or small) a presence here.

Well it's cute that K-pop has a presence in the US but they're still nothing here. But good for them I guess. I'm only dragging CL because I'm bored and someone said that they were more successful than Charli (and continued to drag Charli). ngl I did bop to Gettin' Dumb and Dirty Vibe sounds like a jam.
