She is actually bitching about getting BS for dating younger men while gay women and men aren't allowed to get married in a lot of states/countries?
Her and Patricia Arquette both need to chill. Grand, sweeping statements like this are very messy and overlook the countless intersections and nuances that occur within oppressed groups.

But there ARE plenty of places where even though it's not legislation women get killed every single day just for being women. Just how there are places where homosexuality is criminalized but those laws may not be enforced by law enforcement. Again, you can't make such grand statements like that.

In the Middle east, people get killed because of their race and sexuality as well. Even in the middle east, I wouldn't say "gay/black rights" are more advanced than women rights.
