Same. I need her to bring the ambition & vision, and not be a mess.
I've recently been reading that book about her, Poker Face: The Rise and Rise of LG, and sis was shrewd and ambitious even back in the Stefani Germanotta Band days. There's a passage that said she knew that the band & their material was not working, and so her bandmate at the time was like, "she kicked us out of the band and said she's going to do this new thing - she's' Lady Gaga' now." Things like that just give me hope tbh because I don't think at her core that she's really changed at all. She has good instincts, I just think she got way to into her own fandom and fame at the time between BTW and AP.

Great list except Hair and Dope.
Princess Die & Till It Happens To You are her best ballads and she'll pay them dust. I still use the live versions because the melodies are SO GOOD.
