She wore a kimono and had a pan-Asian themed backdrop that mixed elements of many cultures into one in an ignorant attempt to "pay homage" for attention, to stand out, to look cute/unique, etc.

You do realise there's a difference between artists in their own videos dressing up as minorities and models being put in clothes made by designers who hired them? Then there's also the fact that Candice was shooting for Vogue Brasil in the bottom (absolutely gorgeous ) picture, so her being in a headdress makes sense?

Honestly if you want to attack fashion then attack the editors, photographers and stylists, who actually come up with the shoot, not the models who collect cheques from taking the photographs. Theyre not exactly going to bite the hand that feeds them. And I am a general fan of fashion but there are so many designers/models I don't care for, far more than there are musicians I don't care for.

Yeah. It's a common misconception that we just hate everyone. If it's done RESPECTABLY and WELL we're more than likely going to support and love you. Sorry but you're wrong You don't make positive societal changes without attacking the entire problem. It's like saying the racial hierarchy is gone because we dealt with all of the worst problems i,e, hangings and segregation. That's not realistic and there are a lot of smaller, subtle issues that contribute to ignorance and combating those small issues in the world of pop music forums is still a positive change.
