Yeah in America "college" and "university" are basically interchangeable.
So what exactly is "college" in the UK? Is it like High School?

High School = 11-16 (compulsory). Usually get GCSE qualifications at the end.
College = 16-18 (optional?). Usually get A-level qualifications at the end.
University = 18+ (optional). Usually get a degree at the end.
