Hm, Kelly's (US) success is kinda underrated here. Having a Platinum album in 2011, Gold one in 2012 and then another near-Platinum in 2013 (probably will go Platinum since it's a Christmas album and they see yearly boosts during X-Mas). If Kilo by Kilo goes Gold, that's four certified releases this decade...pretty good.

I played Devil Pray in the car with my friends Friday night, and they kinda scalped me & Madge for her singing about drinking & doing drugs when she's 57, which is proof enough for me that they don't fully listen to lyrics.
Then again, one of the friends stands for EDM music only. His faves are Calvin Harris & deadmau5, but he's starting to deny the fact that he likes Calvin.
Also, I never went in to find out how much of the show is scripted vs. improv. Is there an answer to this?
Oh, and Chris Pratt is god.
The actors do 2 takes/runs, an initial take with the script and a fun run with the second, they can improvise in the fun runs but they never get included because the actors realize that the writers did the better job (that's what they say)
So it's mostly scripted, some improv has been let in if it's in character, spontaneous and totally hilarious. Chris Pratt in Flu Season pops up.
Chris Pratt is a comedic genius, all the cast members agree that he's the funniest and wittiest one even though most are master improvisers (Amy, Nick and Aziz)

Assuming you mean Kelly Clarkson, catering to your AC audience is one of the smartest moves an artist can make if they already have a sizable AC fanbase (P!nk and Bruno have done it too), because they are quite loyal.
