I can bet you a million dollars that Beyoncé and her team most likely had singles as their last priority as the album was doing so well after its initial release. I'm pretty sure it's more interesting and profitable to sell millions of $15 dollar albums than $1 singles.

Why do people always think you have to choose between hit singles and album sales? Why can't you have both? It's not like having hits would come at the cost of losing album sales, especially since hits are a form of promo

Her album sales weren't even that spectacular, she sold like 3.5 million?
