Real talk, I did think I was light skinned until I joined ATRL. I didn't know the spectrum included biracials. That's cheating! I remember one art class lesson, I was roasting some cocky mixed race bully, and his grand comeback was "At least when I turn the light off, I can still see myself" And he was dead ass serious. This guy literally destroyed everyones self-esteem in our year group, and that's the best he could do for me. And of course I was unfazed and confused because I saw myself as light skinned

Hands On Me should have been an urban smash. I think research could be her first urban BOP. I feel LMH and Baby I should have been hits but I can see why Bang Bang, Break Free, Problem and even The Slay weren't played.
