The movie is SO bad. I actually thought it might be good after all the ATRL praise but I should have known better. It's boring af. A chore to watch. Her character is supposed to be a sharp-tongued megabitch who's over it but she never feels real. She always feels like a movie character. You've seen her in a thousand independent movies (the likably unlikable bitch). Her Mexican maid totally steals the show. Also, the whole thing about her scars is supposed to be a mystery but YOU KNOW right off the bat that she got into a car crash and her kid died.

I don't know WHAT station my Lit teacher is playing, but I just heard MJ's "Bad", Pat Benatar's "We Belong" and Queen M's "Like a Prayer" in a row. Someone said "I'm scared" during the first verse of LAP.
