I just looked up The Way I'm Livin', I didn't know Lee Ann Womack was still releasing music, then again how many females in the last year (solo) charted in the top 30 of country radio

Stop what you're doing and listen to "Send It On Down" tbh. The entire album is that level of country realness. Some of the most heartbreaking, raw lyrics I ever did hear.

But is the kitsch listenable? It disrupts the listening experience so much. You never know when he's going to talk, when he's going to sing, when he's going to talk then sing. It's too much for me to handle.

I see the I Knew You Were Trouble impact too now on "Break Up." Well he also does some singtalking on "Speakers" but he transitions smoother on that one. For what it's worth "Loveinthebackofthetruckwith thetailgatedownjustusandthespeakerson" might be my favorite moment on the album
